Battle over my mind
Life is the battle over the mind?
Life seems to be a battle fought over your and my mind, how so? Anything we do or say has its origin of thought in the mind, the question we should ask is; are we aware of it or do we automatically follow a program? From early childhood we are getting programmed first by our mothers and fathers then the extended family and later by the schooling system, perhaps religion, definitely in adult life by the media and workplace.
The question arises, are we in a position at any point of time where we can choose to stay or opt out of the program?
To follow the program prescribed by the World takes little effort, it works by itself, no other input or other thought processes from us is necessary we can let our mind fast asleep. It is like a jet finding its way across the continents steered by a computer program.
When does awareness arise, that life is a battle over the mind? Obviously at the moment when we become aware of the programming we underwent, when we see with our mind the social engineering the human race exposes itself. Only then can we make an informed decision to follow along to accept the world’s idea of life as our own or to start asking further questions about the authenticity of the program induced, coerced would be a better word to describe what happen to us.
Beware, when you verbally ask questions outside your own mind immediately the programs alarm system go into action, God forbid that person may expose the dream we collectively imposed on each other. We need to keep an eye on that person if necessary isolate it and comes worst to worse we put that person in a mental Asylum, character assassination is that last resort, but we done it with great success and without being exposed.
When we talk about the World and the power it generates do we mean a conspiracy by somebody or an organization who like an evil spirit holds power over us, sort of what religion preaches the devil the deceiver of the world? Well in times past before science became part of our thought mechanism that would be a good way of explaining the situation. Before that time only courage’s alchemist would dare to risk his life and then asking only in secrecy. This idea of the devil was and still is misused to reinforce the programming and for a long time very effective in keeping the mind automated. Those who could penetrate the charade where often exposed by the thought police, organized religion and ended with the cruel death as burning witches. Today in the western world we do not burn innocent women not that we are not capable of keep on doing it, but we found more effective psychological tools doing the job, religion playing its part, but mass media is a much better mechanism with better results. This made it even harder to some extend to peep behind the curtain and only a few are willing to go into battle, wrestling with our own programmed mind.
The commercial world is more honest then religion or politics, it is less hidden more up front over the goals of their pursuits, they do battle with the minds to sell, meaning to get you to work and spent your earnings on their products.
The enemy of our mind is so clever that most people deny its existence prefer denial rather to face it head on. Who started the program and who has written it? It started so long ago that we tend to forget our own involvement. That is right we are the programmer of our mind or give permission to let ourselves be programmed by others, what ever we accept as the norm of thinking will dominate our entire way of life. So the battle over our mind is a battle for the possession of our mind. Well in case you decide to go into battle what can I win or loose, would it make any difference to my mind, is it worth the pain involved as a consequence to any fighting.
The victory means freedom the ultimate freedom of being simply self, we all have the urge from within for freedom, but mistakenly we search on the outside of ourselves in democratic government, in monetary independence, in doing what pleases us. Doing what pleases our egotistical inclinations is another form of domination, how so? It is an embryonic, underdeveloped ego and is but another form of programming we spoke of before. To make it our lives priority to pleasing our childish ego without questioning imagine it as freedom is an illusionary dream a camouflage of enslavement that ends when our bodies are used up.
How can we win the battle to be master over our mind? By eating from the tree of knowledge of good and bad, to use a biblical metaphor, by making the choice to wanting to know ourselves, only when we leave our unconscious paradise are we able to progress from unconsciousness to awareness and freedom.
Freedom is a constant battle with the world thought systems designed to distract us from being conscious it argues just follow the routine of our program think in its confines to not seek otherwise. Freedom for the mind means to step into the unknown overcome fear and know who I am and what I am created for the purpose of being a conscious entity free to live in unconditional love.
Imagine what sort of a person would it take to be free of fear; would that person be weak, strong or mad? How could we develop such strength and self-confidence, self-worth?
My ego would love to experience freedom, but seeking freedom and salvation from in all the wrong places the altered ego looks only outside of the self. Always on the lookout for a more suitable partner in the opposite sex, the falling in and out of love, or the search for the right religion, attaching oneself to a political philosophy, the list is endless.
The solution is not outside me, nor is it in any other body, or some other place in the Universe salvation and happiness is not found if the others would be more reasonable towards me. The solution is not in the so called common sense doctrine; I call it social consciousness.
How do I know this to be so?
Look around you and observe the problem solvers and their success rate.
The ultimate relief, we been told and many minds are brainwashed to belief it that ultimately death means rest in peace, they write on grave-stones, end of story.
For the very reason that we are fearful, of the thought no-body or no-existence we invented religion to help us out. They inform us that if we do as they tell us belief and adopt their thought system we have forgiveness of sins, go to heaven and a resurrection from the dead.
Interesting choice I have, either no-existence, in that case my life is a none-event why should I submit to social consciousness, trying to be a useful citizen? Or the other choice is to accept my society’s dollar philosophy and perhaps even our cultures religious thought system live with a bad conscious afraid that I may upset the power that holds sway over life or no-existence.
Well that is what our society has to offer, that is social consciousness, not very inspiring and they want me to adopt that as my mind-set.
You may answer to yourself, reasoning, well that is human nature it is so and always will be so. What that means is that you accept as reality what others prescribe to you as real. If this is what you want to do to yourself then it is so, but remember that thought system is not your own but that of others, for me this is no longer satisfactory done it and reject it. It is not my job to refashion the World to suit myself, but to change me to discard my engineered ego and find my real I am. The battle over my mind is won as soon I am aware that the battle exists. I can think my own thoughts, create my own reality, I can imagine my own, I can chose and mix from what other thinkers thought but I am what I am.
Having reached consciousness I can apply a simple truth, taught through the ages and called unconditional love culminating in forgiving myself and all other entities resulting in freedom from enslavement to my previous social engineered false ego.
The purpose of my present existence is to become conscious of our greatness of our son-ship. Just try it in practice, just think it for a few minutes and observe how it affects you. What is more satisfying to love or to fear, to be free or be a slave? Is not anger based on fear, is not the need to compete based on fear and insecurity? People battle the famous windmills, of Don Quichote unconscious of their unconsciousness they battle with an imaginary foe that does not exist.
The other example leading to success is well illustrated in the life of Christ. Fully conscious I can take matters in my hand and program my mind or say it better in another way reprogram my mind. Conscious of the fact that all attitudes I have are programs I have admitted into my mind and that I can at any time reprogram my mind. As soon I understand that fact nobody will ever have any control over me. Without fear refusing it to control me I am unconditional love and I unconditionally love all.
What reality has this thing called World?
What has the World to do with what I think, has it anything to do with my mind?
It has everything to do with my mind. The World’s only existence is in my mind, the source of my thoughts creates my World gives it reality. If the source of this World is the one society teaches me then the World is as my contemporaries see it.
What benefit is there to change ones source of thinking? It opens the mind so we can understand the World and anything we observe in it. It makes all sense, you don’t have to be lead you become your own leader, if you have the courage.
